Australian resident and author C. S. Cooper is the man responsible for the footage taken above. When asked for comment this is what he had to say.
“The atmosphere there was amazing. There are people from all walks of life. There were farmers, electricians, truckers, accountants, and even lawyers. Indigenous Australians, whites, Africans, Asians, I even saw a few Muslims and Hindus. And it was a great feeling to just walk up and volunteer to help out feeding people and cleaning up. I told the organizers that, even if they win and covid is done, they should make it a new annual event. Everyone was just plain nice. Very much Australian. There were quite a few MAGA hats and supporters of trump, many of them indigenous Australians, which really surprised me. I Think this was in part inspired by the truckers Convoy in Canada. However, I think it’s more a parallel development across the world, because most of these people are working class and entrepreneurial. And the tendency to rebel against such tyranny as the covid mandates is common to humans of that caliber.”
