The clip above went semi viral this morning depicting NYPD encircling a 5 year old child because he did not have his papers.
A 5-year-old boy is seen weeping as NYPD officers demand to see vaccination papers.
“You don’t have the card? If you don’t have it then you’ll have to leave,” the officer told the family at a New York City restaurant.
The law enforcement threatened to arrest the child for trespassing.
“If you leave voluntarily there will not be charges pressed against you, otherwise you will be arrested for trespass. This is your only warning,” the officer said.
More than half a dozen officers surrounded the table with the unvaccinated boy.
“Scaring a child, traumatizing a child. I hope you feel good about yourself NYPD,” a bystander can be heard saying. “This is disgusting. This is gross.”
Another said, “You all failed us. We’re here for you and your kids.”
